This is what this blog will be for me. Somewhere to post my thoughts, ideas, aspirations, inspirations, troubles, stories and poetry. Somewhere to vent, to share, and to express.

Hey! Hi. Hello there world. Ladies and gentlemen let me introduce myself. My name is Janine a.k.a jaja. (A friends younger sibling could not pronounce my whole name so he just repeated the first syllable and it has stuck ever since). I am a student dreaming of becoming a teacher to the next generation. Eating, studying, working and sleeping is my daily and monotonous routine.
My life consists of messed up different beginnings. I have four biological siblings who I hold dear to my heart. I was born into one country and raised in another. I am part of an intrafamily adoption -meaning I am adopted by a family member. I am Filipino Canadian and I am every bit Canadian as I am Filipino.

I am Roman Catholic and God is my Almighty. I believe in his words and have faith in his kingdom. But I do not condone those of other religions. I can speak one language fluently and can pass by somewhat pretend to speak in four other languages.

I am athletic but not currently. I believe I am a good person. I try hard to keep others happy. I have problems with life in general just as you do. And this is where I share my experiences in words with others.

I leave you with the words of the great Ralph Waldo Emerson,

People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of their character.
